There are free shuttle buses available to take you from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort to the resorts downtown on Medano Beach. Free shuttle vans are also available to take you to the resorts and golf course inside Quivira.

Mavila is a 45 minute drive from the San Jose del Cabo airport and 15 minutes from the private Cabo San Lucas airport. Downtown Cabo, where you’ll find the marina, restaurants, bars and shopping are all conveniently located just 5 miles away. Sunset Beach and the golf course can be found only 1.5 miles down the road and the popular, swimmable Medano Beach is just 5.5 miles away. The Quivira community is extremely safe as you will be required to enter 2 security gates before arriving at this studio. The Ring doorbell is another added security feature.

This condo is located on the ground floor of building 9, the address is 91-B. You will receive the code one day prior to your arrival to the key box located at the front door of the unit where you will find the key inside the box. Upon arriving at the main gate of Quivira, tell the guard you are checking in at Mavila unit 91-B and they will confirm your name is on the list. Then you will enter a 2nd gate to Mavila where you will check-in again with the guard. After going through the 2nd gate, take an immediate right and drive down to the last building on your left. You may park next to the handicap space and walk down the sidewalk in front of it and our building is on your right at the end of the sidewalk.
Before your arrival, you can set up your folio with the Mavila concierge office. This will allow you to receive the discounts mentioned above. You will receive a folio number to be used throughout all the resorts. Just email concierge with your name, unit number (Mavila 91-B) and your check-in and check-out dates. They will then give you a folio number. Use this number with your credit card throughout the resorts as they are all cash free. Enjoy your discounts!
Due to the extreme size of Quivira, we strongly recommend renting a car as it is more convenient to get around. You will save more time and money in the long run. If you do not rent a car, free shuttle buses are available only at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort which will take you downtown to the Rosé Resort and Blanco Resort on Medano Beach. Free shuttle vans are also available at Mavila to take you to the resorts and golf course inside Quivira (9am-4pm only – every day except Monday). Taxis are available throughout Quivira and can be scheduled with concierge or the guard house. Uber is only allowed to drop you off inside Quivira but cannot enter the gates without you. In the alternative, Uber can pick you up at the main gate which is a 10-15 minute walk from this studio.

A community pool, hot tub and BBQ area is located in the center of the complex only a 30 second walk away. Please email concierge if you would like to reserve the BBQ area (cleaning fee to be applied).
There are several restaurants and bars located within the Quivira Community (Pacifica, Sunset, Clubhouse and Monticristo Estates). However, you will find countless restaurants and bars to choose from outside the gate in all of Los Cabos. There is everything from dive bars and street tacos to multiple 5 star fine dining options. Several local groceries stores are located throughout Cabo along with American options such as Walmart, Costco and Home Depot. Puerto Paraiso Mall can be found at the marina for high-end items. Do not miss any of the weekly recurring events.

Baja California takes the preservation of turtles very seriously. The baby turtles are released from June/July through October/November. Cabo San Lucas is known as the billfish capital of the world and is home to the highest-paying marlin tournament. Year round fishing is also great for dorado, tuna and wahoo just to name a few. Surfing is great year-round in Cabo. May to October are the best months on the Sea of Cortez side. November to April are the months best for the Pacific side. Surf areas are located at Monuments Beach, Costa Azul/Zippers Beach, Acapulquito Beach, Pescadero, Divorce Beach, San Pedrito, Los Cerritos Beach, Nine Palms and Shipwrecks Beach.
It is here where the Pacific Ocean becomes the Gulf of California/Sea of Cortez. A visit to the arch is one of the most popular things to do in Cabo. Getting there is easy by a boat which can be arranged at Medano Beach. En route, you will pass lazy sea lions basking on the rocks.
This is something you cannot miss. The best time to observe the whales is during their seasonal migration from December through April. During the season, charters run tours to the migratory grounds with a variety of boats which can be found at the marina.
